  I arrived late in hawks bay for the night after getting off the labrador ferry. I was very tired and when we entered the room it smelt like wet dog. I sprayed the room with perfume. Then as my daughter pulled her sheets over there was hair everywhere and little particles of little dark stuff I don't know and same with mine when I pulled my covers over. The boss lived across the street came over! Demand me to come with him to look at the room. He comes back mad because his room was used. I said we were getting ready for bed and then we seen under the covers in a matter of 15 minutes in that room. I was cool a collective to please refund my stay and he said with that you guys dirty the room, you probably laid in that bed and dirt it up yourself. I walked away. I dealt with arrogant people but he took the cake. The young man who checked me in was very nice. This man the boss he can take my last money for his motel for the last time from me.

  Hotel room was disgusting when I walked in I immediately saw the dirt on the floor and in the bathroom it also Had a bad odor. Would NOT recommend! We ended up staying at a nice hotel down by port Saunders way.

  I was really impressed with this Hotel. Nothing was bad except the water that was a bit yellow. The bed was comfy, the internet was slow but atleast it worked. For the area it's as good as I could ask for and the rate was reasonable. I would stay here again

  A wonderful peaceful place, outstanding hosts. Big thanks goes to Kimberly and Jead who helped us in getting solved our car problem. The Inn is located close to a river and the sunrise is right there and puts a wonderful red light into the water. The interior of the building is high class and the space and view in the lounge is breathtaking. Again a big big thank to you both.

  Room was clean, quite and looked to be recently renovated. Staff were great - very friendly. Food was great. Only blemish was my pizza crust was a little overdone but not burnt. I'd recommend this place anytime!
